First and foremost – thank you everyone who participated this week. I mean, jesus christ, talk about giving giving us headaches trying to pick winners. Corey and I have joked that the worst part of judging these matches is that someone has to lose (not that ties are impossible, but who wants week after week of ties, yeah?). For those who won, great job! For those who lost, you have seven more matches – that’s plenty of time to catch up. This upcoming week with B Block is probably gonna inspire just as many headaches. Let’s get a few accolades out of the way Roleplay of the Week: ”No More Bad Days” by ChurchMVP of the Week: “The Bastard Warlord” Corey Bull Match of the Week: Tuxedo Max vs. Julian Mercury Congrats to these guys! With that, onto a little much appreciated feedback solicitation. 1. How did you enjoy the length on the matches? Too long, too short, or just right? 2. As it stands right now, we’re not soliciting “segments”. We’re curating things to sort of demonstrate how we want the “show” to look and feel. That said, we’re not totally opposed to it in the future. Would y’all like that opened up to the public in a few weeks? 3. Is there anything we can clarify for y’all and judging criteria or what we’re looking for? (Please direct any personal questions on your match or RP to PMs. This is more en general) 4. As we’ve seen, Ransack has ALREADY posted his RP. I love it when people champ at the bit. That said, since we’re bi-weekly alternating blocks, would A Block like to see their next card so y’all can start writing right now? If so, would we all like this to be the standard operating going forward for Season One? 5. There’s already interest in people joining. While the tournament is full and finalized, we’re not totally opposed to booking “side show” matches as openers for the actual block matches, serving as a way for people not in the tournament to join and not just twiddle their thumbs for the season. Tournament participants could also happily request matches on off-weeks here. That said, we’d be soliciting match writers for these. Are we interested and who could pull weight? 6. Anything else? Feedback, comments, suggestions? Thanks again and good luck to everyone this week! It’s awesome seeing this come to life and everyone enjoying it.

Jesus, humbled and honored for the RPotW nod. Thanks, Jabbers. 1. How did you enjoy the length on the matches? Too long, too short, or just right? I thought it was JUST RIGHT. Nothing too epic is needed here, it'll make the big ones feel truly big. Otherwise, they felt like they rode that line between fight/wrestling match that I think we're goin' for. 2. As it stands right now, we’re not soliciting “segments”. We’re curating things to sort of demonstrate how we want the “show” to look and feel. That said, we’re not totally opposed to it in the future. Would y’all like that opened up to the public in a few weeks? mmm...maybe? I think with a few more shows for us and our characters, we'll have a better idea of what the weekly feel truly is for us to fit within it. But right now the setup is perfectly unique. Loved the use of the collaborated scenes between Church and Blackwater as the natural "Previously..." story telling.
3. Is there anything we can clarify for y’all and judging criteria or what we’re looking for? (Please direct any personal questions on your match or RP to PMs. This is more en general): You guys have been very clear so far in the things you'd like to see from a judging perspective. Things will clear up a bit too, obviously, with a few reps in of seeing what might work and what might not. Right now, we're all so excited to tell some stories and that's the important part out of the gate. 4. I think if you were to go that route, you might lose out on potential participation of the Sandbox. Not opposed, not all for it 5. I think that's a cool idea if done sparingly, which is what I assume you have in mind. By sparingly, I mean not ending up with 3 'Pre-card" type matches on each and every show to fill the hands. I'd personally be able to hop in here and there to write a match, especially with the appropriately tight-to the point vibe we're goin' for. 6. Anything else? Feedback, comments, suggestions? Podcast on the world building LETS GO. Love that you guys are gonna update our 'world' info and map to reflect the characters' stories.

1. How did you enjoy the length on the matches? Too long, too short, or just right? Spot on. If matches go too long, I turn into a skimmer instead of a reader. They were right in line with my goldilocks zone on that shit. 2. As it stands right now, we’re not soliciting “segments”. We’re curating things to sort of demonstrate how we want the “show” to look and feel. That said, we’re not totally opposed to it in the future. Would y’all like that opened up to the public in a few weeks? I think opening it up to segs would be good, but when we get a feel for the kind of segs y'all want to pull from RPs, I think you'll see more RPs being tailored to being mined for show content. 3. Is there anything we can clarify for y’all and judging criteria or what we’re looking for? (Please direct any personal questions on your match or RP to PMs. This is more en general) I think as long as y'all let us hit you up for insights after results, everything's clear enough that it works a-ok. 4. That'd be really smart imo. You could even make a Block A RP board and a Block B RP board to prevent confusion come judging time if you wanted to be all extra and shit. I don't really dig writing matches, and all of my match writing will likely be directed at AW matches. If that means I'm only booked bi-weekly on block, I'm a-ok with that. 6. Anything else? Feedback, comments, suggestions? Nah. This is fun stuff so far. I like the concept fed thing. It's definitely an interesting and new thing for me.

1. How did you enjoy the length on the matches? Too long, too short, or just right?
I thought the matches were of good length and did a good job highlighting each wrestler involved.
2. As it stands right now, we’re not soliciting “segments”. We’re curating things to sort of demonstrate how we want the “show” to look and feel. That said, we’re not totally opposed to it in the future. Would y’all like that opened up to the public in a few weeks?
I'm enjoying the stripped down nature of the show with the focus on the matches currently, but as time passes it might be interesting to see how the characters interact out of the ring.
3. Is there anything we can clarify for y’all and judging criteria or what we’re looking for? (Please direct any personal questions on your match or RP to PMs. This is more en general)
Can't think of anything off-hand.
4. As we’ve seen, Ransack has ALREADY posted his RP. I love it when people champ at the bit. More time to write is always good.
5. There’s already interest in people joining. Adding an extra match or two that's not part of the tournament sounds good to me. I'd be willing to write matches in a pinch.
6. Anything else? Feedback, comments, suggestions?
I like that you're having an RP, MVP, and Match of the Week. If you eventually do open up match writing maybe create a post that describes how you want them done, and the in-universe rules for them.

1. How did you enjoy the length on the matches? Too long, too short, or just right? Thought they were fine, nothing too lengthy needed. I tend to skim read matches due to time constraints2. As it stands right now, we’re not soliciting “segments”. We’re curating things to sort of demonstrate how we want the “show” to look and feel. That said, we’re not totally opposed to it in the future. Would y’all like that opened up to the public in a few weeks? I'm really enjoying the current format, makes this feel really different.3. Is there anything we can clarify for y’all and judging criteria or what we’re looking for? (Please direct any personal questions on your match or RP to PMs. This is more en general) I'm happy with everything, Michael broke it down nicely for me
4. I think this would be awesome having the card more in advanced, gives us more time to collaborate considering we are working across different time zones.5. There’s already interest in people joining. For know because of my time restraints, I wouldn't be looking for anything more than tournaments matches.
6. Anything else? Feedback, comments, suggestions? It sounds funny but maybe be cautious with the colour of the writing when coding. As the background is very dark, I struggled when reading the results (I'm colour blind). Sticking to lighter letter colours would be awesome. The red writing kicked my ass lol.

I was looking for the deuteranopia setting like I was playing Warzone. The only thing I can add is that I feel like the matches were written in a way that even in defeat the losers still looked really good and had stuff to build upon.

1. How did you enjoy the length on the matches? Too long, too short, or just right? Just right, it's a good mix of short and sweet and physical storytelling. 2. As it stands right now, we’re not soliciting “segments”. We’re curating things to sort of demonstrate how we want the “show” to look and feel. That said, we’re not totally opposed to it in the future. Would y’all like that opened up to the public in a few weeks? Sounds good to me! 3. (Please direct any personal questions on your match or RP to PMs. This is more en general) I think you clarified well the criteria. Everyone here gets it and you can tell it's firing up the creative juices. Good vibes all round! 4. I love the fact I have two weeks to think about my direction. Having the card up for episode four now is an excellent move. 5. There’s already interest in people joining. Hey, If I have time, why not? 6. Anything else? Feedback, comments, suggestions? Just enjoying the overall vibe of the show and the fed in general. You're doing a good job guys!
