Character Name: Hachiman
Nickname: The Whisper
Hometown: Forgotten Realm of the Grand Canyon
Height: 6’0”
Weight: 245 lbs.
In-Ring Style: Cheater and Risk Taker
Bio: He was born Kazuhiko Kato—by choice because his father was a cartoonist and named him after famed illustrator “Monkey Punch”—but when all things went to hell, his life became that of a nomad. Recluse on the very fringe of society, he adopted the name of the war god Hachiman because he felt that war had changed him into a new man.
Hachiman claims to be in cahoots with spirits that never quite seem to be all that helpful. He does, however, hold audience with them. His first psychic experience happened after an intense bit of soul-searching—a ton of peyote helped too—where he met a spirit claiming to be his great grandfather, a long since passed pro-wrestler. After some trade with a traveler through his humble abode off the banks of the Colorado River, Hachiman learned of the Vegas challenge. Late to the party, however as he was, Hachiman gained passage with promises of supernatural favor to powerful people… many yet to collect on his debts as he entrenches himself into the new norm and this ever-changing Vegas of now.
