“What’s in your mind most unholy one?”
Bull sighs, then turns to face her.
“We are concerned that there is more to this then we are aware of. Dukes is too happy in his glass box. He allowed us to take the land we wanted, as he allowed others. Vegas has become an experiment.”
“Of course it has, it is exactly as the brains at DCI predicted.”
Bull smiles and nods.
“And that is the problem. This was predicted and yet, there is no rhyme or reason to it. We are living in a chaos filled void. Something feels wrong to us. It shouldn’t have been so easy, no matter how much money and power we have. Our control has taken years, years of manipulation and money has been moved around. Here we stand at the cusp of all that we have prepared for...and something smells wrong.”
“So what do you suggest my dark antipaladin?”
Bull looks back out at the mostly lit Las Vegas landscape. The Luxor sits in the distance. Bull eyes it.
“We hafta deal with the immortal one this week. Zombie has been around for a long time. So long that we have a unit that has attempted to get his blood just to see if he truly is immortal.”
Bull takes a breath then breaths out a long sigh, as if he has made a decision.
“Get the CRASH unit on the line. We want everything checked and then checked again. If anything looks wrong, we want to know about it and scenarios to deal with it.”
Voodoo smiles.
“As you wish my most evil one. And the other unit?”
Bull grins, but this one is more sinister.
“Raven is already prepared. We intend to make sure he bleeds.”
Voodoo laughs, a beautiful laughter in this dark room, and lifts the phone to her ear as a more confident bastard stares out at the Vegas night.
